Antonín Dvořák Birth House

Step into the childhood of one of the greatest composers of all time and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds that inspired his future music.

The Baroque birth house of celebrated Czech composer Antonín Dvořák, adjacent to Nelahozeves Castle, is a significant landmark and designated national cultural monument. In 2019, the non-profit organization Lobkowicz Collections, o.p.s., reclaimed management of the building to transform it into a new museum and international musical heritage site, with an inspiringly conceived museum and cultural center offering dedicated music education courses, workshops, concerts, a meditation garden, and community enrichment programs.

We believe the rebirth of Dvořák’s life, legacy, and home will inspire future generations to listen and create. What else can be born in the birthplace of the greatest Czech composer?
